Confirmation of student status

Student status requires confirmation (a special document / letter signed by the Director of the Institute, Head of the Department, etc. or a copy of the valid student identity card). The confirmation document should be sent to: post@ruralis.no as soon as possible. If confirmation hasn’t been received by the time the congress starts, the fee difference will be charged upon registration at the congress venue.

ESRS Members:  Full-time students and members of non-OECD countries (ESRS members)
NOK 4.950 (NOK 4.450 early bird) NOK 3.960 (NOK 3.460 early bird)
Non-Members:     Full-time students and members of non-OECD countries (not ESRS members)
NOK 5.445 (NOK 4.945 early bird) NOK 4.455 (NOK 3.955 early bird)

The registration fee includes the costs for congress activities, lunch and coffee/ refreshments during breaks, the welcome reception, conference dinner and the conference programme. The cost of excursions will be in addition, and partly paid for by participants.

  • All prices are in Norwegian Kroner (NOK). Currency converter.
  • Early bird registration fee will be accepted only if it is received before April 15, 2019. After this date only the late registration fee will be accepted.
  • Reduced registration fee is given to the full-time students and members of non-OECD countries.
  • Student status requires confirmation (a special document / letter signed by the Director of the Institute, Head of the Department, etc. or a copy of the valid student identity card). The confirmation document should be sent to: post@ruralis.no.
  • ESRS member fee is for ESRS members only (the membership number must be provided).

 

Cancellation deadlines

Cancellation Conditions both Registration Fee and Hotel

The following cancellation conditions apply to the cancellation of registration for the ESRS2019 and hotel reservation.
In case of cancellation until 15th of April 2019 - no cancellation fee
In case of cancellation from 15th of April 2019 until 15th of May 2019 - 50% of the registration fee and 50% of total stay will be charged
In case of cancellation after 15th of May 2019 and No-Show - 100% of the registration fee and 100% of total stay will be charged

Accommodation

We have pre-reserved rooms at the conference hotel Clarion Hotel & Congress. These are at a very good price, but we cannot guarantee a room at the reduced rate for everyone, and it is first come first serve. Since there are many other events in Trondheim at the same time as ESRS 2019, we recommend booking rooms when you register for the conference, whether you will stay at the conference hotel or in another hotel. (We also recommend that you book your flight well in advance, but we cannot help you with this.)

If you choose a double room, you will have two choices:

Will share with another participant: If you choose this you will have to insert the correct first name and last name of the colleague you want to share with. You must agree in advance that you will share this room, and the room charge will be divided between you. You can only share a room with a person you have agreed to do this with in advance. You cannot enter a name for someone who will not attend the conference. If this happens, the name will be deleted by us and you will have to pay for the entire room.

Will be accompanied by another person: If you choose this, the entire payment of the room will be charged to you.
