Some exciting proposals for working groups have already been submitted, and we expect many more before the deadline of October 1st.

Recently, representatives of the ESRS secretariat and the scientific committee were in Trondheim to look at the conference rooms and meet the Ruralis staff.

“After a tour of the city and information about the event, we believe that this will be a great conference. We hope for a dynamic and broad conference that addresses topics that engage many and embrace Europe”, says ESRS president Sally Shortall, professor at the University of Newcastle.

Ruralis is responsible for both the practical and social aspects of the conference, and the Ruralis staff is full of enthusiasm for leading several professional working groups.

“This is a great opportunity for Ruralis and Ruralis employees to show who you are”, says Joost Dessein of the Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in Flanders.
