Students and recent post-docs are invited to submit a journal article (8000 word limit) based on their PhD or MSc research and which demonstrates real potential for publication in Sociologia Ruralis. Along with the journal’s editor, the ESRS 2019 Scientific Committee will select the best paper. The winner will also receive a scholarship of €800 towards conference costs (appropriate costs can be claimed retrospectively) and assistance with publication as appropriate.
Please note that papers should be single authored by the student and should not have been published before. Applicants should be planning to attend the conference and have an abstract accepted. Full papers should be sent to the Chair of the Scientific Committee, Ruth McAreavey ruth.mcareavey@ncl.ac.uk. Submissions deadline are extended to 10th May.
